Katt Williams, the pint-sized comedian, rapper, and actor of "Wild 'N' Out" fame wore a noose on the red carpet for the 2007 BET Hip-Hop Awards. Some people consider it an ignorant, socially irresponsible move; others a social commentary; others try to understand his intentions, but find his attempt to keep dialogue about recent hate crimes alive misguided. Perhaps most upsetting is that he chose to wear a noose the same day he chose to wear that jacked up dark pink suit and hair badly in need of a wash, set, and blowdry.
Williams is also"Harlem World Diplomat" and member of the Dipset Family (The Diplomats).

WOW, Katt! I understand your point, but did it have to be so extreme? Wait, that's the reason behind the point! IT TAKES EXTREME TO TURN AMERICA ON IT'S EAR I'll bet noone remembers what anyone else was wearring that day, but we'll always remember what YOU wore!! CONGRATS!!!
the point was to let the REAL ignorant ones know that we as blacks are not afraid of ropes,so hanging them in our yards, doors of our homes, jobs or school does not hurt us,cause we don't scare easily.good job in speaking loud without saying nothing.misery loves company so no matter if you do good or bad people always gonna hate....just shake em off and keep pimpin baby.
